Description:
Hello there!
My name is Calista. I am a beautiful 16 week old, solid grey girl. I am really small for my age, so we think that I will likely always be a small cat. The pictures of me don't show how beautiful I am. My coat is super silky and my eyes are very bright! Come and meet me to see just how beautiful I am!

Before I came to the rescue I was living life on the streets. Some nice people came to save me and I couldn't be happier about that. I don't have to live on the streets anymore and for that I will be forever grateful as I am finally safe! After coming to foster care, I eventually learned that I don't have to scarf down all my food in one sitting because the food won't ever be gone for long periods anymore, I get food and water everyday which is amazing! This makes me so happy that I start "making biscuits".  My foster mom laughs because I am always "making biscuits".  As soon as I see her, I start kneading where I am standing but I can't help it.  I am so happy with my new life I want to show everyone.  I purr and knead because I am so happy.

My foster mom said I am great at using my litter box, I have never had any accidents. I am such a good girl! I am also good at eating all my food.  I now like to play with toys, run around the house checking everything out and tumbling around with other kittens. I love other kittens so if you have another cat in the home, that would be awesome! I would also love to be adopted with one of my friends from rescue if you want two kitties! I like to climb cat towers as well so if you have one in your home, that would be so much fun to play with!

Will you help me find a home soon? I would love to grow up with my forever family and have a family of my own to give all of my love to. If you have any questions, please just send us an email. Otherwise, feel free to complete an application.

Love,

Calista

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.

Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed.

The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label.

Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.
