Description:
Hello there,

My name is Lanie and I came to the rescue with my sister Lizzy. We were born outside and are a little nervous of people, however, we are not aggressive at all. We don't even hiss at people. The people that caught us had us fully vetted and ready to place in a barn home, but my foster parents contacted them and asked if they wouldn't mind letting them take us to work with us so we can find indoor homes and be loved by humans since we are still just babies. Luckily they agreed and let my foster family take us!

I am learning to enjoy life indoors. I'm not really sure what toys are yet but I am learning! My foster parents have cat towers in my room and I really like those! They are fun to climb and play in. I use my litter box without any issues. I come out and eat whenever my foster parents bring us our yummy wet food. I am starting to trust my foster parents, I come out and sniff their hands, but I am still nervous.

I am fully vetted and ready to be adopted. I am already spayed and everything! We are currently working on getting better pictures of me. I am a very cute girl with big eyes!

My foster parents feel that it would be best if I could be adopted with a friendly kitten from foster or if I could be adopted to a home that already has another nice cat that can teach me good things. However, they are also willing to adopt me out as a single kitten to someone who is willing to work with me. My foster parents feel that if I am on my own away from my sister who is equally shy, that I would do better. I can be adopted with my sister Lizzy as well but my foster parents think that it might be best that we each get adopted with someone who is a bit more social so that we too can become even more social.

I am only 10 weeks old so I will come around with no issues and will be a very friendly kitty. My foster parents said that they have taken a lot of kitties in like me around my age and that we do best when we go to our forever home with our forever humans. If you have any questions about me, please email my foster mom at kelli.grazi@yahoo.comor complete an adoption application if you are interested in meeting me.

I would love to be given a chance to show you what a nice kitty I am!

Love,
Lanie

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.

Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed.

The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label.

Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.
