Hi! I'm Graciella I'm very, very special. I have been a LDDR rescue dog two times! I was saved from a high kill shelter 5 years ago and after over 4 happy years with a nice forever person. My person became very ill and had to go someplace called Hospice. Saying a teary good bye to me and asking LDDR once again to find me a new forever someone. I was picked up by a young man that took me to collage with him. I enjoyed all nightly parties and lots of napping. After many months there I was swapped places with another dog and went to this young mans place. Now I get to hang out with his mom. She has lots of dogs and foster dogs and some I like... some bug me. I was way too interested in the cat. Now that kitty is spending the winter in Florida and I have no one to chase. Bummer! Yes, I am older, Yes, I am overweight...I did lose some weight :) But, you have to know I am healthy and young at heart. I do great with stairs, love car rides and to be cuddled and snuggled.
I also know I look kinda odd. People look at me and often ask "what is she"...My foster mom says with pride...I'm Gods own snowflake. not like any other dog. I have a Shepherd face and Basset legs and feet. I know I won't win any Miss Doggie Pageants. but I would win awards for being lovable, silly and fun to hang with and guess what? I can be adopted to a senior person over 62 for a mere $35 cause seniors like to hang out with seniors! Even if you are not interested in me... maybe you know someone who would like a short term commitment..and if for some reason...I don't work out there...just like before, LDDR will welcome me back with open arms. Foster mom said she would for sure take me back. So you got nothing to lose and everything to gain. Come to an event and meet me. I go to many of those. Please consider me. I like my foster family. But long for a home of my very own...someone that will keep me until I can't love anymore.
Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting.
