Harley is what appears to be a Shepherd/Chow and Basset mix. He weighs around 70 lbs and is just over a year old. Harley was not properly socialized when he was younger so he takes his time to meet new people but once he does he is your loyal friend for life. His greetings with children have been immediately but women take a few minutes and men make him the most nervous taking a bit longer to trust them but once he does he loves them. He continues to improve in his foster home but will need an experienced owner that will continue his positive socialization so his improvement continues. Harley loves and desires human affection and wants to please. He is extremely treat motivated and very intelligent. He gets along well with other dogs and currently lives with 5. Harley lives with 2 cats and is not aggressive towards them but will playfully chase them so will require if he goes to a home with cats they are used to dogs. Harley is perfectly housebroke, crate trained, loves to go for car rides and walks well on a leash. He is a beautiful dog with a personality to match once you get to know him. If you are considering giving Harley the loving, forever home he deserves please contact his foster Angie at email@example.com
Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.
