Description:

Moolah loves to be with her person! She is a low to medium energy level. She loves to cuddle! Actually, so much, on a daily basis comes up on my chair and sits behind me while I am on my laptop, and cuddles up against me. She is literally my back warmer! You wouldn't guess she is a 60 lb dog. I only give her very durable nylon bones to chew on, since she loves them so much. I have a large crate for her, so when I am not at home, she goes right in it, as her secure place.

Moolah is well behaved. She can sit, down, rollover....very treat motivated. I would consider her to be sometimes she is so mellow, she will sit an lay on a blanket, or a chair for hours. She has her streaks where she likes to run around the yard really fast-she hops around in the backyard like a kangaroo. Then she comes inside and is mellow again. She has a silly personality!

Moolah does get along with some dogs, but depends on compatibility since she is a dominant female. When I have taken her to adoption events she is a real people pleaser. Her tail wags practically constantly! She seems to be good with kids, but she is strong, and I feel she doesn't know her own strength, so might be best if kids are not of toddler size in household. She is quite intelligent...and a great dog!

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption.  AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification.  The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted.  If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip.  Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times.  Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes. We appreciate you stopping by.
