Maxwell is a very sweet boy! He's approx 1 year old and weighs 70 lbs. He has a very silly puppy personality and gets along with everyone and everything! Maxwell loves other dogs and plays well with them, he's excellent with children of all ages and even loves kitties but will occasionally try and play with them. He knows several commands and is very treat motivated. Maxwell is housebroke, crate trained and loves car rides. He loves to play with toys but also enjoys cuddling with you and napping- he really is a big baby! It is apparent Maxwell was mistreated in the past but is being well socialized in his new foster home and now only takes a minute to accept new situations. He was extremely headshy and scared of men when he first arrived but is learning to trust almost instantly in just a matter of days so he needs a loving home that continues his positive experiences and socialization to build his confidence. He's very friendly and as loyal as they come. He will make some lucky family an amazing companion! If you are interested in giving Lord Maxwell the loving home he deserves please fill out an application or contact his foster Angie at email@example.com with any questions.
The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes. We appreciate you stopping by.
