Brandy is a Boxer mix of about 35 pounds who is just shy of two years old.  She is a real sweet-heart.  She was urgent at a shelter and LDDR stepped up to take her in. Her eyes held so much fear and uncertainty, she was unable to stop from shaking-the kind of shaking that took over her whole body.  Now she is safe and is looking for her forever home!

Brandy is very good with the kids and plays very nice with dogs her size. She has, however, had some troubles interacting with smaller breeds, and would much prefer to be placed into a home where there are no smaller dogs. She is a huge cuddler and likes to get lots of love & attention from everyone. She sits nice in a car, doesn't destroy anything when you turn your head, is completely house-trained and does well on the walks, but like all dogs gets a little excited when she sees a squirrel.  Brandy is currently heartworm posotive, but following her treatment this past October she should be all clear by April '13, and will just require monthly preventative (one regular pill each month) after that.  In the mean time she really is an amazing dog and will make a great friend for almost anybody to have around the house.

Please contact Brandy's foster at for any questions/details, or if you would like to meet her.  I guarantee she would like to meet you!

The system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes. We appreciate you stopping by.
