Ziggy is a very sweet boy! He looks to be Shepherd/Terrier mix, is 1 yr old and weighs 35 lbs. Ziggy was dumped at a high kill shelter along with Archie because his family moved and could not take them. Ziggy loves to be with people, ignores cats and adores children of all ages. He gets along great with other dogs but can be a little dominant at times so would need to be a good match if he went to a home with another dog(s) (he currently lives with 2 dogs and is fine).  He's housebroke, crate trained and walks well on a leash. Ziggy has a mellow personality and would make an excellent pet for an elderly home, a home with small children or just a family that wants a nice, quiet companion. He will occasionaly play but much prefers to cuddle with his people. Ziggy's previous owner said he can climb fences so it is required he goes to a home with privacy fence, invisible fence or somewhere he will be walked on a leash or on a tie out (No wire fences)...Once you meet him you will wonder if that's even possible but to be on the safe side we are following what they said. Ziggy will make an excellent addition to any family! If you are interested in giving Ziggy the loving forever home he deserves please fill out an application or contact his foster Cheryl at  cvermillion99@yahoo.com

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes. We appreciate you stopping by.
