Fiona is an adorable light brown lab mix puppy. She is very smart catches on very quickly to what is being taught and is housetrained! She hops because she thinks it will get her somewhere faster and because of her sheer exuberance. She is happy and curious and eager for adventures. She does very well with large dogs and other puppies but she is too much for small breed dogs. We have not yet determined how she is with cats...she will chase them if they run. It could be that she is a rambuctious puppy.

Fiona goes to bed at 8:30-9:00 in her crate without any complaints and sleeps until 7:00am. She also is crazy about car rides-she is both very relaxed and very curious about all the new sights she sees, she is also content to curl up in the passenger seat and chew her toy bone. She sleeps in the crate at night and when we are gone. She weighs 37 pounds and she still has all of her puppy exuberance and playfulness, except she is much stronger. She completed four weeks of puppy obedience training and did very well in class, she really loves learning.

The system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes. We appreciate you stopping by.
