Nero is a Yellow Lab mix with an excited personality with so much love to give!  He was found in Detroit and has since been surrounded by trainers and fosters impressed with what a fast learner he is. He is such a smart boy! Nero has learned basic obedience commands like sit, stay, down, off, come, heel, etc. Now we're just working on polishing all of them, which Nero is really enjoying. He also knows when he is going for a walk and will bring his leash to you! He just loves getting praise and making his people proud!

Nero's hobbies include taking naps, impressing everyone with his amazing sit/stay skills and giving/getting tons of affection. Nero walks very politely on his leash and doesn't pull at all. Nero is so afraid of being dumped again so he has some separation anxiety but is being worked on. Whoever is able to dedicate the time and training to Nero will find themselves a perfect companion.

Nero is a lively young boy who loves people. He's fun and loves a good game! He needs a backyard to run and play in and another doggie companion to play with would be fantastic for him. Nero would be best suited for a home with no kids, or older kids due to his level of playfulness and size!

The system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes. We appreciate you stopping by.
