Description:

Starr is a beautiful brindle girl who was pulled from a local shelter before she was PTS.  She is quiet and shy girl who will walk up to a complete stranger and gently give them a hug.  She loves people, especially children, and other dogs and cats.  Starr is a playful girl who loves to run and play, but is also content just to lay down next to her people or one of her furry friends and get some lovin.

Starr is housetrained, great on car rides,  fully vaccinated and spayed.  She was very thin when we got her so she is still filling out.  Her perfect weight will be between 50-55 lbs.  She enjoys playing with doggie and human friends and is getting used to going for walks.  Although she is still working on some training in terms of jumping up and walking on a leash, she really is just an all around easy going dog.

Starr is currently in a foster home with 2 other large dogs, 2 cats and 2 boys (ages 8 & 9) and has done wonderful from the day she arrived.  Starr would love to have a family of her home, preferably with some children and other dog for her to play with, but she will do well in any situation.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes. We appreciate you stopping by.
