Description:

Sweet Shy Miss Tally came all the way from NC to have her precious life saved. She is still a pup at one years old and just learning what love is. She needs a person to teach her that most humans can be good and are worthy of her trust. She is slowly warming up to people. She is currently in a active home with many dogs and children. They have minimal time to work with her, but even with just a bit of time she is making progress, Tilly needs a new foster home too wheres she will have someone with a bit more time to work with her. Like all pups she loves to chew. So lots of chew toys will make her very happy.. Once she  warms up to her person basic training would be great for this fully grown 45lb pup, we are guessing that she is a lab/shep/terrier mix. Tally is house trained, crate trained a has yet to bark. so a quiet girl, She loves other dogs and get her confidence from other dogs. She would like a calm home to live and love and be loved in. Won't you be the one to let sweet Tally know that life is good???

Update: Tally is still very shy but is becoming more trusting of people. She has let her foster clip her nails and she now eats food out of her hand. She does great with the other dogs and children in her foster home.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
