Description:

Hi there! My name is Diamond! I am full of love! I have a happy-go-lucky temperament and love everyone that I meet! I hope you like kisses because I sure like to give them! I have beautiful brindle coloring with pretty hazel eyes...well that's what everyone tells me :) I am a very smart girl and know how to "sit" for treats. I also know when it's time for my foster mommy to leave for work because she just says "kennel up" and I go right in my crate. I always get a yummy treat for being a good girl too! My foster mommy is trying to teach me to not jump up but I just get so excited when I see people so I am really trying hard. It's hard to control my wiggle butt too!

I currently live with a 11 year old human boy who I absolutely adore! He is so much fun! Plus there are 4 other doggies to play with! I really enjoy running around the yard with them and playing with our toys. I also like to splash around the pool in the summer that is just for us! I like to romp around in the snow in the winter time too! Even though I am great with all of the doggies in my foster home, it does take a couple days to adjust to new doggies. Then I realize how much fun they are to play with! My foster mommy says that I am an attention hog. I almost forgot to mention that I LOVE playing fetch too! I must say I am pretty good at it! I love to run around with my tennis ball showing off! Want to know what else I love? Cuddling! My foster mommy says I'm the best little snuggler . I love to be as close as I can! I have met a couple of cats and to be honest, they kind of scare me.

I have been diagnosed with Diabetes Insipidus. The Vet said that my urine is not able to concentrate. That is the reason why I was drinking so much water and having to go potty all the time. I had to get tests done and all my blood work is good and I'm doing so much better now. I get one pill in the morning and two in the evening and it's wrapped in cheese! Yum! I like cheese! I'm a healthy girl and do not need a special diet-just my daily pills.

As you can see, I love it here at my foster home, but I really am looking for my furever home. Do you think I could be part of your family??? You can contact me through my foster mommy at chlyfa415@comcast.net

I hope to hear from you soon!

Love,
Diamond

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
