Description:
My name is Betty and I am a Chihuahua mix. I am a little timid when I first meet someone, but if they have treats, I become a fast friend!!! I live with a number of other dogs and a cats that I like to cuddle up for naps together. My foster mom thinks I am 4-5 years old. As for kids I get along fine, but would probably be better with older children as I am nervous and may not like them sneaking up on me or trying to pick me up. I am a real cuddle bug and will keep you company wherever you go. Please come and meet me so you can see what a jewel I am. My foster mom has horses that I like to run after so I have some energy to run around or go for walks if you want to, but I just really want to sit on your lap, snuggle, and be your forever companion.
Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog. The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix.
