Description:
Hi, I’m Dudley. I am a good little Jack Russell looking for a strong leader and loving home. I am a good mix of high energy fun and cuddle bug. I will sit next to you on the couch while you watch a movie after our daily exercise. I am very friendly and social. I love playing with other dogs my size. I haven’t been around large dogs much. I do not like cats. I do not like to be handled by small children, so if you have little ones, I’m probably not the right fit for you. I tend to want things my way, so I may give you some attitude, which you should not let me get away with. It’s very important that my adopter(s) be a strong leader and follow through with my training. I’m very smart and may challenge you if I think I can get away with something. I love playing with toys but I can be possessive, so I need some help working on that, as well. I know several commands, and do very well with sit, come and even know how to shake! I would like to learn more commands as I am a quick learner and eager to please. I am housebroken and crate trained. I’m very good at telling you when I have to go outside. I don’t mind the crate, but my foster family has not had any issues with me chewing anything I am not supposed to chew. I like to investigate everything and enjoy watching what’s going on outside.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfiner.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
