Description:
Phoebe is a very friendly young gal who loves to play.  Her tail wags constantly and she is always ready for a game of fetch.  She has the energy to easily do a few rounds of agility and if you want that frisbee caught, I'm sure she can do that too.  She would make a great jogging partner and would love a trip to the dog park.  Do you want your kids entertained and tired out?  Phoebe will give them a fun work out for you.  After a little bit of exercise, Phoebe is happy to snuggle with you on the sofa for some TV watching or a nap.  Phoebe loves everyone--people, dogs, and cats.  She knows the command to sit and is learning more.  She rides great in the car and is eager to "go bye-bye."  She could use a few lessons in leash walking because she is so happy to go somewhere that she wants to get there fast and forgets to wait for the person at the other end of the leash.  A basic obedience class would take care of that.  If you lead an active life and want a super friendly canine companion, Phoebe is your girl! Although Phoebe loves children, she may accidentally knock over small ones in her enthusiasm.  So, she would be best with children that aren't small enough to tip over easily.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
