Description:

Hi, my name is Zenna and I’m looking for my forever home. I’ve been told that I have gorgeous blue eyes and have the personality to match. I love to snuggle and will fit perfectly in your lap. Right now I’m about 15 pounds but I’m a little skinny.  Now that I’m in a good foster home, I’m working on that. I might be a beagle mix and will probably end up around 20-30 pounds.

I am a typical puppy - I love to play with my toys and fetch is one of my favorite games.  Give me a yard to play in with a fence and I’ll be as happy as can be. I’m learning crate training and am working on being house broken. So far my foster mom says I’m a quick learner. I’m currently in a house with two other dogs and I love playing with them. I do like to bite their ears so I’m working on how to play nicely. I can’t wait to meet you!

Applicants that are willing to enroll their puppy in obedience classes will receive  preference

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
