Description:
My name is Keiran and I am looking for someone to make me their best buddy!  Don't let my size and breeding fool you, I'm a giant, cuddly, lap dog.  I am 7 years old and need a place to call my own.  I am one laid back guy!  I like to hang out with my person and be their best friend.  I am dog friendly and cat friendly and I haven't met a person that I didn't like!  I have a really unique howling bark...I'm not a hound but its just my amazing character coming out :).  I was hit by a car but don't let that detour you from adopting me, I am mobile and get around just fine.  Running isn't really my thing because of my previous injuries but if you want to take me for walks, I'm in!  I'd like to find a home where I can have a soft bed to lay in and a person or two to give me belly rubs (my favorite thing on the planet).  Please don't adopt me if you have dogs or kids that will jump all over me or knock me down, I'm not the most sturdy guy after that accident but I am solid and good for a home where people respect my little difference in mobility. I  love water! Although I can't swim, I love to splash around the edge of the lake :)! I will settle for a big puddle if you don't have a beach available :)

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
