Description:

Hi there!!
It’s nice to meet you, my name is Pal! My name fits me well because I’ve never met a person I didn’t like. There is nothing I love more than walking into a room full of people and having them all fall in love with me. I mean seriously, how can you not fall in love with my good looks and friendly personality?

I used to have a family of my own but they decided they didn’t want me anymore and were going to have me put down. Fortunately the staff at the vet’s office feel in love with me and convinced the vet to take me in and let me live in his kennel while I awaited a new home.

While I was there things started to go downhill. The kennel environment made me really anxious and I started to lose a ton of weight. A kind trainer saw how poorly I was doing and brought me home to stay with him while I await my forever family.

Since my foster dad is a trainer I’ve been learning a ton of new stuff. I’m super good at sit, down, shake, roll over, bed, coming when called and walking on a loose leash. I’m even starting to learn some off leash obedience as well. I would love a home with a family who would continue to work with me and teach me even more new stuff!!

You get the best of both worlds with me, I love playing and going on adventures but I’m also content to snuggle up with you at the end of a long day. I love playing tug and chase in the backyard. I think car rides are super fun and I’ve recently discovered that hikes in the woods can be quite relaxing. Can I join you for some fun activities?

I’m super easy to take care of compared to some other dogs I know. I enjoy baths and will sit patiently while you wash me. I also don’t mind getting my nails trimmed. My foster dad will gently lift each of my paws and clip each nail while I quietly sit and watch him. I also have short fur so I don’t need to be brushed like those long haired dogs. How much more low maintenance can you get!?

I’m currently living with other doggies but I would really like to be the only doggie in your home so I can have all your attention to myself. I do well with kids as long as they are a little taller than me. Those little babies can make me nervous at times; I never know what they are up to.

There is nothing I would love more than to find a loving family that will take care of me and welcome me with open arms. I would love to meet you so you can fall in love with me. If you think I might be a good fit for your family, please fill out an app and my foster family will get in touch with you!!

Hope to see you soon,

Pal

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption. AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
