Hello everyone my name is Remington and I'm about 8 months old. I know commands such as sit, down, and shake and love to play with my foster brother and sister who are a lot bigger than me. I am looking for my forever home but I need a family that will help me go through training and understand that I sometimes don’t like anyone touching things, that I think are mine. My new family will need to have patience and know that I am still a puppy and need lots of exercise and activities to keep me busy. I like going for walks and love to be petted, but I do not like being picked up all of the time. I have my adult teeth coming in and chewing helps me feel better. If you have lots of bones and chew toys that will really help me too. My foster family does not have any cats but thinks I would be ok if my new family has some. I am always around bigger kids so we’re not sure how I would do around small children and toddlers but I think I love everyone! If you’re willing to give me a chance, please fill out an application! I would really love to be in my forever home soon!
Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs/cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the dog's/cat’s shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog/cat is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs and cats MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs and cats back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog or cat.
The petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs and cats. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix.
