Description:
My name is Ned and I am the friendliest little dude you will ever meet! I was found on the side of the freeway in Ohio wearing a bandana and a flea collar. I was taken in to a shelter and after no one came to claim me Last Day Dog Rescue swooped in to save me.
 
I love being around people - I don't mind dogs or cats either - but humans are my favorite. I love attention and I will come up next to anyone and stare at them until I get some love. Car rides are my  favorite, I often times fall asleep in the back sleep. 
 
I can be somewhat of a resource guarder - this means that I can become territorial over people and spaces that I think are mine. I need to go to a home where I will get training so that I can become the best dog possible. I can get very attached to my one special person and hate  sharing their attention, so a home with a single person may be best, but a couple could be okay if they can be patient with me. I do not like children, they make me nervous, so I will be best in a home where they are not around. 
 
Did I mention I love my crate? I even go nap in it sometimes, I like to gather all my toys from around the house and bring them into my crate when I nap. Please give me a chance! I will make someone the luckiest owner.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs/cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the dog's/cat’s shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the dog/cat is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Dogs and cats MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our dogs and cats back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog or cat.  

 

The  petfinder.com  system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs and cats. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
