CocoPuff - ADOPTED's Sponsorship Page
Coco Puff is a one year old male Siberian Husky. He is on the smaller side for a husky, at about 45 pounds, and will not get much bigger. He is crate and trained and potty trained. He came all the way from a rural Texas shelter where he was to be euthanized for space. He is the sweetest boy, and very happy to be in Michigan! He is friendly to other dogs, big and small, and children. He should be supervised around young children as he is excitable and may knock them over. We believe with slow introductions that he may do well with cats, as he is friendly to my mean chihuahua. He loves to go for walks, but uses a special harness so he doesn’t pull. He gets the zoomies, loves to cuddle, loves to play, and loves water. He prefers to sleep in the bed and take up all the space! He is still a puppy and learning puppy manners, like not to jump when excited. He knows sit, come, and kennel, and is still learning more! Coco Puff is a good representation of his breed. He is very much a husky, and special care should be taken to prevent escaping. He can open doors, and has chewed through or slipped harnesses and leashes. He should always wear a martingale collar with his identification attached. He should wear a harness on walks, which after should then be removed as he chews on them if left alone. He would benefit from an airplane-approved crate as he tries to open the doors of wire crates with his tongue. He does shed and sometimes likes to talk. However, he is pretty quiet at night in his kennel. Research on the breed or breed experience is recommended prior to adoption.
