Description:
Hi I'm Violet, I was a LDDR dog way back when I was only two years old. I have enjoyed 5 wonderful years with a very nice couple. They renamed me Delilah and I now answer to that. They loved me a lot and I adore them! They have not been home for a long time. Nice family members tell me they won't be coming home and I have been very sad. Both very ill and if they get better will not be able to take care of me. I lived with a small dog and a big German Shepherd. They have family members take them in. No one offered me a place. However, I'm very lucky... I'm a LDDR dog and they will always take me back! So I'm going back to my foster mommy. She said she will help me find another nice person to love me and I will learn to love again. I have to say... I was really well loved. so much so. I ate very well. and have gained some weight. I hope foster mom will help me keep my new years resolution and lose a few so I look good for my new forever friend.

I am a good nature, fun loving, love belly rubs kinda girl. I love car rides and Frisbee catching. I love being close and am good with dogs, cats and kids. I'm easy to meet at my foster home in Northville.

Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all dogs before adoption.  AVID Microchips are implanted between the dog's shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification.  The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted.  If the dog is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip.  Dogs MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times.  Per our contract, we take all our dogs back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog.

The  petfinder.com  system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
