Description:
Meet Macks! We are not really sure what Macks is but he appears to be a Terrier mix. He weighs 29 lbs so he's a smaller guy and appears to be full grown. Macks is around 1 year old and is the sweetest little boy! He loves everyone and is very friendly. Macks gets along great with other dogs, cats and loves children. He loves to play but is quite mellow when nothing exciting is happening. Macks is housebroke, crate trained, walks great on a leash and rides well in a car. He minds well and is quite the cuddler! Macks will make an excellent addition to any family. If you are considering giving Macks a loving forever home please fill out an application or contact his foster mom Angie at moparangie@comcast.net and she will gladly answer any questions about him!
Macks is a truly wonderful dog. We can't quite say what he is. He has bouncy little ears and is mostly a creamy white with a a touch of yellow on his ears and few spots all over his coat. He is surprisingly small only 28 lbs and full grown. Just about a year old and acts like a pup, bouncy, curious and playful. He was rescued from a high kill gassing shelter and had less then an hour before we found a foster for him. So close! He is great in the car, great with dogs, cats, kids. likes to play but is not high energy at all, walks great on a lead and seems very attentive to people. Like he is looking for his next direction. He is an extremely easy dog. A bit shy but comes right out of his shell when playing outside. House trained and well mannered. Loves attention and will crawl into your lap if you give him half a chance! This little guy will go fast.. he is SO SWEET! so if your interested in please fill out an application. Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by.Other Pictures of Macks-ADOPTED (click to see larger version):
