Kahlua and her sister Cream (who is also listed on our site) were out of time at a shelter here in Michigan that sells their dogs for research. We could not let that happen so we took them in. Kahlua is a young, female dog who we think recently had a litter of pups. She is energetic and curious. Her fur is so soft and she is a beautiful brindle color. Kahlua likes to get comfortable on furniture next to her human companion. Although she has energy, she does settle down nicely once properly exercised. Kahlua does not do well with cats (probably the hound mentality that she was born with) so she would do best in a home with no cats. Kahlua is working on learning basic commands, so taking her to obedience class would be advised. She is a smart dog who will learn fast. Kahlua is a wonderful dog that would make herself right at home once she finds her new family-could it be you?
