Meet Allison! She is a very sweet girl who loves her people. She also loves meeting new people who can take a few minutes to let her get to know them first. After that, she'll keep coming back for lots of lovin' and loves the attention once she gets to know you. She is great on a leash and loves going for daily walks whenever you're ready to go. Sometimes she may get just a little rambunctious if she sees a squirrel or other dog but quickly stops with a small, gentle correction. She is super smart and very well mannered. She knows how to sit, shake, stay, lay down and even dance a little, and is very gentle when taking treats. She does very good on car rides as well and loves going on new adventures. Allison would do best in a quiet, relaxed home without small children, small dogs or cats. She has befriended larger dogs in the past but she definitely needs her space because she really does enjoy being the center of attention. Allison does have some allergies that can cause respiratory issues if not kept at bay so will need an owner who is willing to give her that little bit of extra TLC that she will need. But this sweet girl will reward you greatly by being a loving, loyal companion! Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home.
