Hi I’m Proximo but go by Thorfinn now. I’ve had a bit of a rough start to life after being found in the streets with my sister as a puppy. I am a very sweet and lovable guy who likes to curl up next to my person when we watch tv, sleep, or on days when we’re just couch potatoes. I also like to go on walks and I know some basic commands like sit, shake, wait and down. I think my favorite thing in the whole world (besides lots of love and pets) is chewing on bully sticks but don’t worry I never chew on the wrong things. I know shoes are for wearing and not chewing. I also love squeaky toys and repeatedly pushing them to make them squeak, something about it just makes me so happy. I’ve never had an accident in my fosters house and I ring a bell when I need to go outside. I love to also run and play outside. When other dogs bark at me I just ignore them and do my own thing. When given the opportunity I love to play with other dogs but sometimes I don’t know when enough is enough and then I’m given a little break. I’m just so submerged in play I guess I just miss the cues sometimes but I’ve never been aggressive. I’ve been with the rescue longer than I thought I would have been. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting.
